Jessica K. Foote is a barrister and solicitor, and the founder of Foote Law. Prior to opening Foote Law, Ms. Foote earned an Honours Baccalaureate in Business Administration and Management from the University of Guelph. She was presented the Women’s Opportunity Award from Soroptomist International, certificates from the Canadian Institute of Management, and received numerous awards for Business Studies with Honours.
Ms. Foote attended Osgoode Hall Law School and obtained her Juris Doctor, and following her call to the bar has focused her practice primarily on family and criminal law matters. Throughout law school, Ms. Foote furthered her commitment to social justice by volunteering with the Family Law Project within the Brampton Superior and Ontario Court of Justice, and at a prominent criminal and family law firm. She also gained legal experience working at a personal injury law firm throughout her years in law school.
Currently, Ms. Foote is a presenter of the Mandatory Information Program for Peel Family Mediation Services, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Dufferin County Law Association, is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Family Law Association and the Criminal law Association. She is also a member of the University Women’s Club of Orangeville, Dufferin Women in Business and the Dufferin Board of Trade.

Ryen Ironmonger joined Foote Law as a Law Clerk after having graduated from Humber College with a Law Clerk diploma in 2007. Ryen has practiced primarily in family law for several years, and also has experience in many areas of law, including criminal law.
Ryen has been an active volunteer within her community, and is a dedicated member of the team at Foote Law.
Carrie Bellan is a criminal defence lawyer practicing in Orangeville and the surrounding areas. Called to the bar in 1996, Ms. Bellan is a member in good standing of the governing body for Ontario lawyers, the Law Society of Ontario.
Ms. Bellan is a sole practitioner and has been concentrating exclusively on criminal law practice since 2004.
Foote Law and Carrie Bellan have been closely associated for the last several years. Ms. Bellan is council in association with Foote Law on criminal matters.
