Jessica K. Foote B.B.A. (Hons), J.D.
Barrister and Solicitor, Founder of Foote Law
Called to the Bar after earning her Juris Doctor while attending Osgood Hall Law School, Ms. Foote founded Foote Law, based in Orangeville, Ontario with the express purpose of serving the community with a focus on both family law and criminal law. Recently adding real estate transactions, and wills / estates services to her roster, she remains dedicated to providing approachable, client-focussed, legal assistance that is both flexible and affordable.
Ms. Foote is also an Honours Graduate with a Baccalaureate in Business Administration and Management from the University of Guelph where she received numerous awards including from the Canadian Institute of Management and the Women’s Opportunity Award from Soroptomist International. Her commitment to social justice was evidenced throughout school by her volunteer services with the Family Law Project within the Brampton Superior and Ontario Court of Justice. Additionally, she has worked with both a prominent family and criminal law firm and in personal injury law. Currently, Ms. Foote is a legal instructor with the Mandatory Information Program for Peel Family Mediation Services. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Dufferin County Law Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Family Law Association and the Criminal Law Association. Active in the community, Ms. Foote is also a member of the University Women’s Club of Orangeville, Dufferin Women in Business and the Dufferin Board of Trade. Ms. Foote is a mother of three, an avid golfer and in the past has volunteered with Dufferin County Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Throughout college, university and law school she was a student mentor and more recently has spent a significant amount of time volunteering in the schools her children attend. She supports and encourages her team with their own volunteer endeavours at locations such as the Orangeville Foodbank by enabling flexible work schedules so staff can support the causes closest to them. Ms. Foote also does Pro Bono work on occasion and prides herself on always being available to her clients.

Peter was called to the bar in March of 2026 after having earned his law degree from the University of Leicester in England. Prior to joining Foote Law, Peter gained experience working on a range of litigation matters in both Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area, with a particular focus on family and criminal law. He addresses each file with an attention to detail, organization, and practical problem-solving.
In addition to litigation, Peter has also acquired valuable knowledge in the areas of real estate and estate matters, giving him a broader understanding of how different legal issues can intersect. This allows him to approach client matters with a well-rounded and practical perspective. Peter is approachable and responsive. He understands that legal issues can be stressful and works to provide calm and clear, straightforward guidance so clients can make informed decisions with confidence.
When he is not practicing law, Peter enjoys playing soccer, reflecting his appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and staying active.

Connie is experienced with every level of the Ontario Court system.

She gained legal experience having worked as a Legal Assistant in private practise, prior to joining Foote Law in 2025.
